Chirag Parghi

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Chirag Parghi is a board-certified radiologist with fellowship (subspecialty) training in Breast Imaging and, most recently, served as the Chief Medical Officer of Solis Mammography, where he managed clinical quality across more than 150 breast centers. As CMO, he also led the clinical research endeavors, where he is the principal investigator on several trials and manages relationships with various radiologist practices. Dr. Parghi is still a practicing radiologist with staff appointments at the Einstein-Jefferson medical center in Philadelphia.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (and a minor in mathematics) at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine for medical school. After completing his internal medicine internship at Baylor, he completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the George Washington University Hospital, where he was a chief resident (2011-2012).

Dr. Parghi then completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and then received his MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. His clinical interests are focused on technology-enabled change in breast cancer workups and diagnoses. He has been a pioneer in the launch of AI-based disease insights on mammography, including short-term risk prediction and heart disease risk modeling. Under his leadership, Solis Mammography has developed a robust AI suite of analytic tools that are available to patients and embraced telemedicine to expedite patient care and improve access. Dr. Parghi has also overseen the creation of a research enterprise with an industry-leading vision for improving both machine learning tools and medical devices. Dr. Parghi is the principal investigator in several research studies focused on the utility of new technologies in mammography.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Parghi is a prolific writer and was a prior fellow for Doximity, an online journal for the physician community. He has been published in the Wall Street Journal in addition to traditional medical journals. Dr. Parghi was also nominated to serve on the Distinguished Alumni of the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Dr. Parghi lives in The Woodlands (North Houston) with his wife, Anita, and three daughters.
